Publication history: The Natural State of Medical Practice was a three-volume work published by Liberty Hill Publishing in 2019. Originally published in 2015 by CreateSpace in two volumes with a supplement, the authorship was anonymous and under the pseudonym “Thessalos,” purported son of Hippocrates, in the hope that anonymity might be an intellectual trigger for interest. This did not happen. The content was then updated and expanded, with proper authorship acknowledged in the 2019 edition. A fourth volume was added in 2024. In August 2020, a single-volume abridgement, Medical Practice and the Common Man and Woman: A History, was published by Xulon Press, with an e-Book version released in 2021. The change in the title for the abridgement reflected a modest change in emphasis from the role of the common man and woman in medical practice to the role of common man and woman in history. This abridgement is now discontinued. The replacement of the term Isagorial Theory with the term Natural Law Theory in volume 1 is explained elsewhere on this website.
The four volumes, no longer carried by publishers, are again updated and available here for download without charge.
